Allison Epperson (MFA ’18) Before landing in Ohio, Allison Epperson toured with Missoula Children’s Theatre for ten years. She directed and performed in over 300 musical productions with local youth across the USA, Canada, Mexico and Europe. In addition to her programmatic productions here at Ohio University, she has directed Making Charlie, and assistant directed Much Ado About Nothing. Allison has also performed in the MFA films Going Up, Blast, and Reunion. Ben Stockman (MFA ’18) Ben hails from southern Vermont, and began his directing career at 14 with Carlo Goldoni’s The Servant of Two Masters. He started pursuing directing as a career after getting his Bachelor’s degree in English at Lesley College in 2010. Past directorial credits include Late, A Cowboy Song (Apron Theater Co); Deathtrap; The Dumb Waiter (Vermont Theatre Company); Kiss Me, Kate (Main Street Arts); and Cyrano de Bergerac (New England Youth Theatre Alumni Assn). Jonathan Hetler (MFA ’19) Jonathan is in his first year of the MFA Directing program. He has worked for several theatre companies throughout Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio. Prior to OU, he lived in State College, PA where he spent eight years as the VP of Human Resources and Administration. He has both his MBA in Organizational Change and Development and MA in Theatre from Regent University. His passion for theatre is to create a genuine experience and engage the audience in a truly real way. Anne McAlexander (MFA ’19) Anne is a director, choreographer, and performer. She has directed and choreographed several productions at Summer Repertory Theatre Festival in Northern California, including Nice Work if You Can Get It, Tartuffe, Jeffrey Hatcher’s Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Forever Plaid. Choreography credits with SRT include Merrily We Roll Along, South Pacific, La Cage Aux Folles, 9 to 5, The Wedding Singer, Hairspray, The Full Monty, and Mame. Other directing and choreography credits include Parade (Boston University), Ragtime (Fiddlehead Theatre, Boston), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Belmont University, TN), Damn Yankees (SUNY Fredonia), Pippin, Kiss Me Kate, The Drowsy Chaperone, In the Heights, and West Side Story. Anne taught as the choral and theatre instructor at Tuxedo Park School, worked in several inner New York City schools as a teaching artist with Wingspan Arts, and has choreographed at various high schools in the New York area. She served as the head of the dance department at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts for eight years, where she choreographed over forty productions. Performance credits include A Chorus Line (Cassie), Sweet Charity (Charity), Beauty and the Beast, Guys and Dolls, and Chicago.
